Learning Activities

  1. Heritage Trail

Visit our historic houses and compare the ways ordinary people used to live their lives in Victorian times, the 1940s and 1950s. How did they prepare their food? How did they wash themselves and their clothes? How did they spend their family time and spare time? Make a virtual Scrapbook to show what you’ve discovered. Approx. 2 hours. Cost: Admission to Kent Life (for up-to-date admission prices see Kent Life Opening Times and Prices.) No need to book; ask in Admissions for our Heritage Trail map.
  2. Cuddle Corner

Visit a Cuddle Corner session and find out as much information as you can about 3 of the farm animals at Kent Life. You will find information panels around the site to help you. Tip: the Kent Life staff have a wealth of knowledge about our animals and love to answer any questions you have! Make a virtual Scrapbook to show what you’ve discovered. Approx. 2 hours. Cost: Admission to Kent Life (for up-to-date admission prices see Kent Life Opening Times and Prices.) No need to book. Cuddle Corner sessions run throughout the day; daily timings are posted on the noticeboard in Cuddle Corner.
