With your adoption you will receive a ready to frame adoption certificate, a full colour photograph and a free complimentary entrance ticket for the recipient of the adoption*. Your adoption is valid for one calendar year from the date specified on the Adopt an Animal Booking Form
All of the farmyard animals below are available for adoption.
HORSES
|
Bella is a Shire horse and has been living at Kent life for two years. She is a mare (meaning female) and is 19 years old, which is quite old in horsey years. She is regarded as a traditional Shire working horse. She is black in colouring with three thick white socks and feathered feet. Bella and Nettie are inseparable; they share a paddock and are best friends. Bella has a kind and caring nature and likes nothing more than a nap in her paddock. |

Nettie is a rescue horse and has been living at Kent Life for 6 years. She is a mare (meaning female) and is 20 years old, which is quite old in horsey years. She is too old to be ridden now but still enjoys lots of company. She has speckled grey colouring and a long white and grey tail and is very fit for her age. Nettie and Bella our Shire horse are inseparable; they share a paddock and are best friends. Nettie loves attention, especially when it’s shared between her and Bella. |

DONKEYS

Ellie is 6 years old and came to live at Kent Life in January 2009. She is a quiet donkey, very laid back and likes to take things nice and slow, she can also be a little stubborn at times. Ellie is light brown in colour with a kind and calm nature she loves a juicy carrot. As best friends Dora and Ellie always look out for each other and love to spend time together. |

Dora the Explorer came to live here at Kent Life in January 2009. She is 6 years old with dark browny grey colouring and likes long relaxing walks around her paddock with her best friend Ellie the donkey. Dora and Ellie are inseparable and both like nothing more than a nice juicy carrot to chomp. Dora gave birth to her foal in April 2009 and is loving motherhood. |

Murphy is Dora's son and was born in May 2009 here at Kent Life. He is a very mischievous little boy who is never far from his mums side. Murphy loves exploring his paddock and meeting all the lovely guests who visit him. He is grey in colour with a brown mane and stripe across his shoulders called the 'donkey cross'. He is very loyal to his mum Dora and her best friend Ellie and he love spending all of his time with them. |

GEESE, DUCKS & TURKEYS

Gordon is a male goose (gander) and is 6 years old. He is white in colour with a bright orange beak. See if you can spot which one he is... here's a clue... he has a tear drop shaped pupil. He lives on the pond with his girlfriends and the other ducks and sleeps in his floating island hut. Gordon is a real ladies man with many girlfriends and can charm a whole flock of geese. He is also very noisy and likes to make his presence known to whoever passes by honking. His favourite treat is a slice of bread. |

| Gordon's Girlfriends live with him on the Kent Life pond. They vary in age and can usually be seen waddling after Gordon everywhere he goes. They are all white with orange beaks and love to be treated to bread. The girlfriends all love Gordon very much and love spending their time with him. They are less noisy than Gordon and just like to have a peaceful life. |

The Ducks on Kent Life's pond are a variety of breeds including Appleyard, Runners, Mallards and Call Ducks. The live on the pond sleeping in their floating house at night. They like swimming in the water but love to roam around the pond quacking at all visitors. They are a close knit bunch and can often be seen lazing by the pond together on a hot summer’s day or munching on some breed and feed. |

The Farmyard Turkeys arrived at Kent Life in December 2009 saved from being part of the Christmas dinner plate. They are very noisy, bossy and love chasing each other round the farmyard. The Turkeys have fitted in to the Kent Life family well anbd adore thier new found freedom. |

RED SUSSEX CATTLE

Willow is our first time grandmother pedigree Red Sussex, which is a traditional breed to Kent. She is 9 years old and has had 5 calves during her time at Kent Life including Daisy, Rose, Suzie, Archie and Alfie and is now grandmother to Cherry. She is very kind and friendly, with a laid back nature and is full of wisdom. Willow is a fantastic mother and is always looking out for the rest of the herd. |

Rose is a lady Red Sussex Cow which is a traditional breed to Kent. She is one of Willows calves and is 6 years old. She was born here at Kent Life. Rose is very cheeky and likes to play games, so often tries to run away when being handled. She is very dominant and likes to be the leader of the herd bossing all the other cows around. Rose became a mother in April 2009 to Cherry and she is doing great as a first time mum. |

Suzie is a Red Sussex calf which is a traditional breed to Kent. She is a female and is just over a two years old, born in November 2007. After she was born she was a real Mummy's girl and wouldn’t leave Willow's side. As she grows she is getting more confident and now loves to make friends. She loves company and her favourite time of the day is when she gets a pat from all of you. She never stays still for long and loves to run around her paddock just like her sister Rose. |

She loves to make friends and enjoys hanging out with her niece Cherry. She loves company and her favourite time of the day is when she gets a pat from all of you. She never stays still for long and loves to run around her paddock just like her sister Rose. |

FERRETS
| The Ferrets of Kent Life are a mix of male and female and vary in age, size and colour. They are very playful and love to meet new people who can tickle their tummies. They are all very inquisitive (nosy) and like to explore their home as it has all sorts of weird and wonderful things for them to do. Can you spot our Albino Ferret, Squid? |

PIGS

Romeo is our male breeding pig; he is a pedigree Saddleback, which is an old traditional breed. He is slow and laid back, but this cool dude is a definite ladies man. Romeo and Juliet are our resident love pigs but he has been known to escape for a roll in the mud with the other lady pigs, but he will always go back to his one and only Juliet. In 2009 he was dad to Juliet and Patricia's piglets. |

Juliet is our lady breeding pig and just like Romeo is a pedigree Saddleback which are is a traditional old breed. Juliet is pink and black and a little bit of mud colour. She is cool, calm and collected and loves nothing more than a pampering session and a nice long roll in her mud bath. Juliet is Romeos first girlfriend and in July 2009 became a glowing mum of 12 gorgeous little piglets. |

Patricia is a female Saddleback pig and is just over two years old. She is a very sociable pig who likes to eat her dinner out of your hands. Patricia is black and pink in colour just like Juliet. She likes to roam her paddock and roll in the mud all day long. She is one of Romeo's 'lady friends' and gave birth to his piglets in April 2009 ready for the start of our new season. |

Sooty is a large black pig and is Dotty's best friend. She was born in August 2008 just like Dotty, which makes her 2 years old. She is a little more nervous than her friend when meeting new people but once she gets to know you she likes to play games and chase you round her pen. Sooty can often be seen at Dotty's side as they love keeping each other company. Sooty was also a proud mum when she gave birth to 8 cute piglets in July 2009. |

Dotty is a female pedigree Gloucester Old Spot pig who was born in August 2008. She is a laid back piggy who likes to waddle around her paddock with her best friend Sooty. Dotty is pink in colour with black spots and will hopefully become a mum next year. She loves attention and is always rolling over so she can have her tummy tickled. |

Peppa is a Kune Kune pig and is just over three years old. Peppa arrived at Kent Life in 2009 along with best friend George. Peppa may not be the prettiest pig but is very firendly and loves human company. Peppa is mostly pink with some black spots and is very hairy. Roaming the paddock and rolling in the mud all day long is Peppas favourite activity |

George is a Kune Kune pig and is just over three years old. She came to Kent Life in 2009 along with best freind Peppa. George is very sociable and loves to make friends with the visitors. George is mostly black with some pink spots and is very hairy. Rolling around in the mud with Peppa is Georges favourite activity.

THE ORCHARD SHEEP

We have two varieties of sheep at Kent Life, Texal-Cross and Southdown breeds. They are all female and very friendly and calm. They like nothing better than munching on a bit of hay or apple and socializing with each other in the paddock. All of them have their own quirky personalities but don't like being away from each other. |

RABBITS & GUINEA PIGS

The Rabbits at Kent Life are all of different ages, size and colours. Mnay of them were given to us by the local RSPCA early in 2009. They can be shy at first but are great friends with the cuddle corner Guinea Pigs. They love hopping around their cuddle corner and outside pen just waiting for their next bowl of yummy rabbit food. The Guinea Pigs arrived at Kent Life in February 2009. Thay vary in age and colour but love each others company. Meeting lots of new faces in cuddle corner is an activity they really enjoy. They can be shy at first but adore being stroked, they make a purring sound to show their delight. All of the guinea pigs live in cuddle corner and can often be seen making friends with their neighbours, the rabbits. |

RESCUED PYGMY GOAT

Bunter is a male Pygmy rescue Goat who is 9 years old. He is small in stature and dark brown and white in colour with long horns. He is very grumpy at times and despite his height likes to keep all the other goats in check. His favourite activity is foraging for vegetables spread around his pen and play stack. |

| Caprice is a small but sweet female Pygmy Goat given to us by Buttercup Sanctuary. She is black and white in colour and at 14 years old is the oldest of all the goats. Caprice is very cheeky and playful with a heart of gold and is loved by all the others. Her favourite thing to do is forage for vegetables spread around her pen and play stack. |

Bruce is a male Pigmy rescue Goat who was born in 2005. He was given to us by Buttercups Sanctuary. He is very stocky with light coloured fur and long horns with a little white beard. He likes to think he is the boss of the goat paddock, sometimes head butting the other goats. At heart he is a true softy who loves to fool around on his play stack by himself and with the others. |

RESCUED GOLDEN GUERNSEY

Fawn is a female Golden Guernsey rescue Goat given to us by Buttercup Sanctuary. She is a very classy lady and was born in 2005. Fawn is just like a supermodel, tall and slim with strawberry blonde fur and no horns. She loves being noticed, often escaping to find someone to stroke her and give her attention. She is very friendly and always first to the fence when someone is visiting. |

Twinkle is a female Golden Guernsey Goat who is 9 years old. She is a large goat with light brown fur long horns and a blue collar. Twinkle is the matron leader of the group and is loved and respected by the others. She is strong willed and caring especially for Tiddler her trusty right hand. Like the other goats her favourite activity is foraging around her pen and play stack for vegetables. |

Tiddler is a female Golden Guernsey Goat born in 2005. She is a rescue goat given to us by Buttercups Sanctuary. She is very light brown in colour with long horns and wears a red collar. Tiddler loves Twinkle; she is her best friend and is her trusty sidekick. They can often be seen together hatching up new plans and adventures. She also enjoys foraging for her favourite fruit and vegetable treats. |

The adoption is valid for one year from the date specified on the booking form. Confirmation and the above package will be sent via post, on receipt of the completed form and cheque in the full amount of £20, made payable to the Continuum (Kent Life) Ltd.
- The adoption is non refundable.
- In the event of an animals death or transfer you will be notified and your adoption can be transferred to another animal.
- We will not disclose the identity of the sender if different to the recipient.
Kent Life with holds the right to change the picture of any of the animals at any time.
Please note that on certain days throughout the year some of the animals are taken off site to be shown at competitions.
